Scientific and creative work of the academic staff of the academic bachelor and master study programme “Theology”

 

THE STRATEGY OF LATVIAN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY is based on the method of Integrative theology. It encourages the integration of anthropological approach of the Eastern Orthodox theology in an interdisciplinary research. Theology works for innovative approach in research of current social and humanitarian problem, as it it is reflected in the present list of publications of the academic staff.

Strategic and academic management of the concept of Latvian Christian academty, as well as international coordination of research groups in various fields of knowledge was initiated by Rector of LChrA Prof., Dr. SKAIDRĪTE GŪTMANE. In 2016 prof. Skaidrīte Gūtmane was awarded with Letter of Appreciation from the President of Latvian Academy of Sciences for integration of theology, academic interdisciplinary research in the field of humanities and promotion of the Church tradition in Latvia.
